The Board of Directors of the Brentwood Common Homeowners’ Association manages the property with the homeowners’ best interests and property longevity in mind. The Board consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and one Member-At-Large. These Board members are volunteer homeowners and are entrusted with decision making and financial management to benefit the Association in general; in accordance with the Governing documents, all financials are available to homeowners for complete transparency of operations and management. The Board does not referee disputes between homeowners nor does the Board or management provide personal services. Brentwood Common is not an assisted living facility, but rather it is a group of wholly owned, private townhomes.
Board members are elected for one-year terms. Under the By-Laws, Board members can serve three consecutive terms if reelected. A nominating committee presents a slate of willing, prospective homeowners for Board service at the annual meeting in February. Homeowners interested in serving on the Board should inform the Chair of the Nominating Committee.
